    This book is easy to listen to and effective. I think she does a good job of explaining all the different categories of ASD, ADHD, and SPD. I was able to gain some more perspective for my child! She also has a great list of strategies to help our kids. I've learned more about SPD and ASD from this book then I have as a therapist and I have had my son in OT for the past 2.5 years! I think its a good buy!

    My young daughter (7yo) has had a lot of anxiety with her newly discovered ADHD even beforw we realized that was what it was. Her symptomswere quite different from that of other kids ao it took us going to a counselor to realize that's what it was. She recommended this book and I found the accompanying parent book which I haven't started yet, and this book has given her a refreshed sense of readiness and willingness to get on track for the day or when she's just feeling bored or off. The activities have captured her interest and she is excited to do them! They're fun and I think give a great break from the mundane to get out some energy or frustration so her mind can settle down to focus.

    Love this book and the practical strategies and the worksheets that your child can do at their own pace. My 10yo does not have ADHD but struggles with a few overlapping topics. She can read this on her own and it is really helping her with emotional control and self-regulation.

    This workbook really got my 17 year old thinking about what she needed to do differently to be successful in college. It’s written with the intent to encourage introspection and it was effective in getting her to do that. It also helped her understand that she is not alone in this world with this diagnosis, and people she knows who are highly successful have it as well. I have seen a lot of purposeful improvements in her effort to work towards “adulting”. We both read it and had weekly discussions about her thoughts and she did a couple reflection papers. Thank you for a very effective tool for my daughter.

    I got this for my 14-year-old and purchased a second copy for her therapist. They work on it in session. I did this because if I had tried to review it with my daughter, there would have been eye rolling and tension; if I asked my daughter to do it for herself, it wouldn’t have happened. Great book - but I wouldn’t trust a teen to do it on their own.

The concepts are easy and just need some reminders on what to do when certain situations present themselves.
